A sabbatical from love
I finished A Little Life, just before my birthday,
how stark of a change one year could make, and how much time I had
all to myself.
Time to find myself,
apart from being a part of someone else’s life.
Time to heal my heart,
with all the care and love it deserves.
Time to finally enjoy myself,
with new friends and trips and experiences.
How saccharine this year truly was.
I also start PrEP.
